PAC seeking Mission Planning Systems Technicians

Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) is seeking a Mission Planning Systems Technician to join its Australian Division.

The successful candidate will provide System Administration and Technical Support to the ADF’s Aviation Mission Planning Systems, and will join a team of peers with experience in the administration of the Joint Mission Planning System, Tactical Datalink, and other emerging defence ICT capabilities.  Candidates must be a qualified mission planning practitioner with previous training or operational experience in avionics and information systems, and the administration of Windows-based Simple Networks. Not only will candidates provide hands-on support to the ADF fleet and Command and Control infrastructure, but will also continue professional development and training to develop a mastery of Mission Planning Systems.

This position holds the following unique requirements:

  1. The availability to work shift-work;
  2. A minimum NV1, with ability to obtain NV2;
  3. Ability to travel within Australia and Overseas, as required;
  4. A Current Driver’s Licence.
