Job Description:

Support to the FMS Customer, responsible for overseeing US-based efforts in providing FMS follow-on sustainment support. The incumbent will be the representative for spares, repairs and general sustainment supply support, out of the NAVSUP offices in Philadelphia. The incumbent is expected to provide expert advice, systems knowledge and representation for key USN logistics and sustainment activities for International Programs.


  • US Citizen
  • Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Experience (10+ years) in FMS or USN F/A-18 aircraft sustainment and logistics support


  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Business or related field
  • Experience with USN and/or FMS inventory systems
  • USN F/A-18 FMS experience
  • GS13 (mid-senior or comparable)

  • FMS follow-on sustainment support to FMS Customer
  • Strategies to improve material availability, repair cycle and logistics response times for FMS sourced aeronautical product
  • Identify supply support problems and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders
  • Work with PMA-265 FMS IPT Assistant Program Manager
  • Develop repairable or procurement requirements for consideration by USN Integrated Weapons Support Teams (IWSTs)
  • Provide advice to FMS Customer on annual spares modeling activities
  • Identify Repair Of Repairable (ROR) and Repairable Item Replacement Option (RIRO) candidates for Follow-On Support cases
  • Work with customer to plan for transition from ROR to RIRO
  • Participate in Acquisition Planning Teams to ensure follow-on support and sustainment strategies are supportable
  • Participate in ILSWG and PMR process on behalf of FMS Customer
  • Identify and develop FMS supply chain process improvements
  • Regular reporting of AOG and Lotus Notes Interim Demand System (LNIDS) status for customer
