Training Officer and Technical Adviser – Tactical Data Link

Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) has an opportunity for a Tactical Data Link technical specialist for an ongoing contract of 12 months with an option to extend a further 6 months. The position is full time in Canberra at the offices of the client. An NV1 security clearance is essential, however a Baseline clearance can be expedited to meet this criteria. The role would primarily entail independent development and presentation of several training packages in support of the ADF Initial Common Support Infrastructure, comprising Link-11, Link-16, VMF and JREAP, plus a role in assisting in support of the network development and documentation. Due to the growing demand for C4I networks within the ADF, PAC anticipates that successful completion of this task to a high standard will lead to further work in this field. As the current work is Australian Defence related, prior ADF or Defence APS experience is desirable, and a current security clearance is essential. Candidate must be willing to work in Canberra at the offices of the customer. This position is at the mid-senior APS level.
